PLACE | POINTS | |
---|---|---|
WIN | 250 | |
LOSE | 90 | |
TIE | 170 |
Place is determined by your NET score over PAR. That's your gross score minus your handicap, minus PAR.
Ties will be handled by dividing the points between the number of people tying for that position. All remainder points will be rounded DOWN to simplify and automate the process. For example:
1. 3 people tie for 3rd place (add 200(3rd place), 150(4th place), 125(5th place) = 475/ 3 people = 158.33 each. We round down to 158 points each to keep things simple.
2. If there is a tie for 1st place, a $20 cash prize and winning points will be divided evenly among the tying players.
In the four match-play Majors, the winner of each match will receive 250 points and the losing player will receive their 90 points for their effort. In the event of a tie match, the two players will split the points and each get 170 points. As a bonus, the low NET score for the evening will be awared an additional 50 points.
The season points only get you to the playoffs. The top 16 in points qualify for the playoffs and are eligible to play. Prize money will be given to the top 3 finishers in the regular season.
Guest players do not accumulate points.
